We were on a monthly mail out service with Dr. ________'s company to receive their superfood product. We were happy with it, and thought it was the only way to get this product until I talked with Erin Otto. She said she used to get it in bulk and I could make it myself. I asked if she would get it for me and she did. We noticed right away the excellent color. We compared it to the other product and saw the difference. The other looked like it had sat in a warehouse for a long time. It was dull looking.

Then we tasted the difference. It was much fresher!

And most important far less expensive. We have ordered several times now and it has been consistant in quality and freshness. We will never order from the other source again. I am glad I talked with Erin about super food. We feel great and so does our budget!

I have never been able to grow nice long fingernails, since taking Superfood my nails have grown and are stronger then they ever have been!! If Superfood does this for fingernails I know it is doing a whole lot more on the inside!!

My husband and I have been using "home-made" Superfood faithfully for the past few months The results have been astounding! Except for the Niacin rush that we periodically got from the Dr. Schultz, we cannot tell any difference. And we LOVE the price! I just started using superfood faithfully, and I'm amazed at the change in my energy level! Wow! When I was still bouncing around the house at 9:00 at night, my husband decided to start taking it too!

We mix it in plain water or fruit juice. The kids like it in juice, but it's not too bad plain either.

And one more thing. Superfood is really helping me go... must be the beets!

We really enjoyed the peaches! They were large, beautiful, fragrant, and delicious. What did we do with them, you ask? Well, first we put them out on the counter and admired them. Then we stood around and inhaled in the divine aroma of fresh summer peaches until we were giddy. Then we began devouring them...seven children who all love a good peach! We all ate our fill for several days and still managed to put up a dozen bags in the freezer for peach cobblers and smoothies this winter when peach season is only a distant dream. :) Thank you so much!

Loved, loved, loved the peaches!!! Besides standing over the kitchen sink with juice dripping down my chin, I made peach ice cream, peach cobble, and put up 8 pints of peaches in mason jars to enjoy later. Thanks for making Franklin a drop off point. I will definately be participating again!

When we first picked up the peaches they were a little firm (unripe). After 24 hours they began to soften and they were delicious! Our family of 8 has eaten over half of our 1/2 bushel in 5 days and I have about 20 peaches left. I plan to freeze them tomorrow to make peach sauce to use with pancakes and waffles later in the year. We blend a cup of fruit with 1/4 c honey and 1 cup of orange /apple juice and bring to a boil. Mix 1 tsp corn starch with some OJ and whisk together then add to boiled mixture after removing from heat. Whisk together and serve over fresh pancakes/waffles! YUMMY!

We got seven boxes of the seconds, 2 for ourselves and the rest were friends that ordered with me. Eric and Ashley, our contact people, were very sweet people! The peaches were absolutely delicious! With the first box....we ate some fresh and then canned 10 qts. The second box made 8 pts of peach butter. We still have a dozen fresh that are going to get frozen today for ice cream and smoothies! : )

I will be watching my email and ordering again. So will everyone else that I ordered for also. They all loved their peaches too!

We just got back from Switzerland where they make fruit fladas. They are so good!!! You make a crust of your choice, and spread it on a cookie sheet. Then spread some fresh fruit about 1/2 to 1 inch thick (like plumb halves or cherries or peaches). Pour a sauce over the fruit with some sweetening, flavor, corn starch or flour to keep from being too runny and some nuts or soy or milk for richness. Bake till done (crust is golden)Then enjoy!!!

I really enjoyed the peaches. They were a little firmer than the last batch but after a few days were ready to can. We canned 2 boxes and got 30 quarts of peaches. That is a quart per dollar spent...not bad. We also made peach honey with the skins for pancakes in the morning. Our one box of eating peaches has kept well in the fridge so far, now if I can only hide them from the kids. The freestone variety has made for easier canning.

The July peaches are fabulous! Mostly ripe and perfectly sweet - delicious flavor I remember from childhood. We were worried about ordering #2 peaches, but SO pleased! These peaches were much sweeter than the June peaches, but ripened very quick. We were very happy with them. We canned 5 of the 7 boxes, and were able to put up 68 quarts. The other 2 boxes are for fresh eating. Thanks for getting these peaches for us.

I loved the freestone peaches-& while I enjoyed the June peaches, I won't be ordering any semi-freestone next year, it'll be ALL freestone for me. The taste was better & working with them was TONS easier. I did notice more bruising, but maybe that was in the handling or be cause they were a bit more ripe than the semi-freestones? I didn't can these. I froze one box & dried another in our Excalibur dehydrator, then vacuum-sealed them.

The last order and with this order, we put 22 quart boxes in the freezer for our favorite dessert, peach cobler. We are looking forward to getting pears for perserves. Also, we are hoping next year there will be cucumbers for pickles.

WOW! The peaches were GREAT! The first box I got, I put up 26 1/2 pints and the rest went into the freezer, except for the cobbler I made that nite. The 2nd box I got, I put up 21 pints, this is all jam by the way. Yum! Yum! I only work with the pint and 1/2 pint jars since it's just the 2 of us. But we really enjoyed them and the flavor was GREAT! Thanks. Heather and everyone that's enjoyng the jam.

OH MY!!! The peaches are wonderful! We ordered 6 boxes of Num 2. peaches and 4 boxes of blueberries. The blueberries were SO good, perfect, only a few bad ones in the bunch. Some of the best blueberries we've ever had! I wish I could get some more :) The peaches weren't ripe when we got them which was totally fine. They ripened up in 2 days. unfortunately about half of them had bad spots on them so we had to do cut off part of a lot of them. The blueberries were simply wonderful. The peaches a little green and had to sit on a table in the sun for 3 days before I could freeze them. Well, I made peach ice cream and peach pie for the fourth and they have both disappeared. I think most of the peaches will be fairly ripe today and tomorrow so I don't have much time, got to get to the kitchen. I have noticed a few whose pits had opened up and were black inside. The peach flesh seem to be okay but I cut off wide around that pit. I have never seen that in a peach before. -Lori Grissom

The blueberries and peaches are both excellent! I still have a lot of blueberries left, after freezing 2 quarts, making 12 blueberry pancakes, 24 blueberry muffins, 12 mini loaves of zucchini blueberry bread, and feeding them fresh to my family for several meals and snacks. I am making blueberry freezer jam today, and I guess we'll eat up the rest. We have eaten the peaches fresh, and I have frozen 2 quarts. With the rest, I'll make peach jam and whatever else I decide. The peaches are very tasty. However, I was disappointed that when they arrived, they were all hard, and then ripened all at once. Now, they have to be frozen before they go bad. Also, when you cut them open, the pit is usually broken in half and black, sometimes with gooey stuff in there as well. -Joy

My whole family loves the peaches! My picky 4-year old gobbles them down to the pit, fuzzy skin and all. The blueberries were fresh and absolutely delicious. We can't stop eating them plain :-) We bought "seconds" on the peaches. Many of them were partly green and hard when we got them. They have softened up and the part of the peach that isn't green is yummy, but the green parts didn't get any more ripe and are not good. I don't know if they are seconds because of the green/not-ripe peaches. I hope the next batch will be better. -Rebecca B.

I ordered #2 peaches, because last years' reviews were so wonderful...many people said that there was no reason to spend the extra $ on #1s. I was not expecting perfect-looking fruit, but I was disappointed about the amount of badly bruised peaches I received...most of them were not fit for just eating, but were okay sliced up to be put in the freezer I did have to cut off parts of lots of the peaches, though. I was planning on ordering again in July, but I'm not sure that I will. On the other hand, the blueberries were WONDERFUL. I haven't baked with them yet, but the kids ate quite a few of them before I was able to freeze the rest. -Amber Weber

This was my first time ordering. There were a few more bruises than I expected after reading so many glowing reviews. Immediate sorting is necessary. I'd say about 40% of my box had bruises, with about 5 having a bruise covering 1/3 of the peach. But because they were so fresh, none had started rotting, and overall taste was great. Just got back in town and a friend had delivered my peaches and blueberries to my house. They are absolutely WONDERFUL!!!! We already went blueberry picking twice this year, and I love that for the experience for the children and for the freshness, but your berries were just way better than those we picked! And I try to buy my peaches fresh too--from the guy who sets up a stand on the road, but they were not good at all this year. These peaches are SO much better. This is my way of putting in a request for another blueberry delivery, if possible. Your source for blueberries is wonderful. My friend, an organic farmer, and I did a side by side comparison of blueberries available at a farmers market here in middle TN (she said their berries are the best of the market). The ones from BNF won by a mile.

So I am hoping there will be another blueberry delivery soon! For sure I'd buy at least 2 boxes!

We left them out on the counter a couple days and then canned them and the peels came right off and they all split in half perfectly, so we could cut them. We only have 6 peaches left from the 2 boxes we purchased. They were SO sweet, SO juicy and SO peachy (aka, flavorful.) We ate a lot, canned 15 pints of preserves, froze 16 peaches whole and dehydrated a dozen or so. We bought #2 grade and I would do it again in a heartbeat! For the most part they were medium-large. When I got home from pick-up I immediately separated the ones with imperfections (nicks and bruises-about 15) from the "perfect" ones. Each morning for 3 days straight I set aside the ones that had to be dealt with THAT day. Well worth it! (BTW-the "imperfect" ones were perfectly usable, but had to be dealt with first thing!) -Addie Lewis

The Lance peaches were fabulous! #1 peaches are not realripe or sweet yet. we ate and canned all the #2 peaches. We may have lost only one, that is all. Great! The #1 peaches look teriffic! We will be eating them now, as the others are all gone. Oh, we did make a cobbler from the last of the #2 peaches. We'll eat that tomorrow and the next day. I made it by slicing the fruit and placing it in the dish I wanted to bake it in. then I sprinkled the fruit with a little unbleached flour and raw sugar, stired it in a little. Then I made a crumble of half flour and oats, and a little salt. I stired it until blended, then added oil and vanilla, and again a little sweetener, enough to make a crumble, sprinkled it to cover the top and baked it until golden brown. Can't wait to try it! The peaches we received in June were seconds but were perfect, no bruises all uniform in size and very sweet. Not so with the July peaches. They had much to be desired. The raw honey I purchased was AMAZING!!! It's the yummiest raw honey I've ever tasted. I'm using it in everything The peaches were really good too. They are just now ripe enough to bit into. And I'll be honest and say that, given what I read in the June reviews, I had more "bad" ones (meaning ones with large bad spots or rotting spots) than I expected. I purchased the "b" peaches thinking they would have some blemishes bruises, but these had more than I was expecting. BUT, for the price, I think it's totally fair and the taste is delicious. They are so yummy. I'm planning to start freezing them on Thursday. YUM! -Jennifer

If life were a bowl of the cherries that we received from the Washington Bing Cherry order it would be sweet indeed...and plump and juicy...we really indulged in them, and I read that they are good for our cardiovascular/heart health.

I was hoping to put some up, but by the time we got our fill of them in their raw state we had none to can(:

Erin, I actually bought another box of cherries upon tasting the open box of cherries at the Franklin pick up station, and recalling that there'd be no other opportunity to buy more next month.

As soon as I got home, I placed both boxes in the extra fridge in the garage. I took one box to my Mom on Saturday and she was delighted to have them.

I'm going to freeze the other box today.

I've bought containers of cherries at Sam's Club in which I have really been disappointed: shriveled and moldy.

I've found a few bad cherries in the BulkNaturalFoods box I took my Mom, but have no complaint as to taste

...Erin, following up my reply, today I washed the second box of cherries I picked up Friday. I found only nine cherries I had to discard. I am extremely pleased with the quality and flavor of the cherries.

I froze them with the pit in them. Hopefully, they can easily be pitted frozen.

I drove around with my cherries in my trunk for 2 hours after I picked them up, then brought them into the house and left them on the counter overnight. I finally got them sorted and pitted and in the freezer this afternoon and ended up with about 1/2 cup of shriveled or moldy ones. Wanted to follow up and let you know the cherries were amazing!! So amazing that I am really wishing I had bought more! If you get a chance to do another cherry order this year (long shot I know) I would commit to buying three or four more boxes. Some friends of mine helped to process mine since I was out of town. They were running out of time and just dumped the last of them stems, pits and all into freezer bags and dropped it into the freezer. As it turns out that has been such a cool way to store them! And SUPER easy. We just pull them out and munch on them as snacks, next best thing to fresh!

Stanley Plums & Bartlett Pears

Hi Tim & Erin,

I just wanted to tell you how absolutely thrilled I am that you were able to get us those plums. I honestly have no single word in my vocabulary to tell you! They are something that I've grown up eating (my family is German, I'm the first American), so having fresh wonderful prune plums like the ones you got for us is just wonderful. I wait every year for the one week these are in season and then have to pay rediculous prices at the grocery store to see if I can manage to get a decent amount to make one cake like that which I grew up on. This year, not at all! The whole box was perfect! My grandparents are going to be thrilled when I bring them plum preserves that they grew up eating. And my freezer will be stocked so I can enjoy the cake for several weeks.

As you can see, no word to describe how happy I am.

We all LOVED the pears and the plums - we ate lots just straight from the box and i loved the pears with honey goats cheese.....i shared with friends.

We made lots of pear crisps and sometimes combined peaches.

I froze a lot of plums pits removed and chopped for winter crisps and I canned yummy plum butter with only honey. I canned pears in organic apple juice and water. I wish I had more PEARS! Just ate the last one today.....

We enjoyed both the pears & plums. We made pear butter, which was spectacular & then just a little pear sauce. The plum were good & we made plum preserves w/them, which were very good. Although we ate several of the plums, we still ended up w/18 1/2 pts of the preserves & 8 half pints of syrup. Thanks!

The plums were great - no spoilage - we weren't as pleased with the pears as they were small and didn't have much flavor - we dehydrated plums and have some good prunes - haven't dehydrated pears - used them with an apple crisp recipe.

Pears and plums were great. Pears were made into pear sauce-same process as applesauce with no sugar added. The plums are pitted and canned for winter cobbler. Yummy!

Pears were very good, still have some left to preserve in sugar syrup and alcohol (German recipe).

Plums were so..so, nothing to rave about, in fact, quite disappointing. I had expected German-style "Zwetschgen" like we grow in Germany: small, oblong, orange-fleshed and extremely sweet, none of which these were. Too large for making plum dumplings (an absolutely fabulous dish) one could use them for cake and jam, maybe put them in Slivovitz (plum brandy) to make them a little yummy. Sorry, no hit with this German who grew up with plum trees in back.

Erin, loved the pick-up & distribution process, all went well. I have used this coconut oil before (Nutiva) & it is the best by far I have ever used & this is a very competitive price. The imported hard pack dates are very good, as well, same as the ones in the stores, but much cheaper! I haven't opened our other products yet, but all appear to be of good quality.

The dry goods order came in just in time. I was almost out of flax seeds. I belonged to another co-op but the supplier closed so I have been looking for a new co-op. For my first order I can truthfully say it saved me about $20 in flax seed alone. I was going to order from the health food store until I heard about All Natural Foods C0-op.

The home where I pick up in Medina was convient to me. They also let me pick up after work.

I was well pleased with my first order for dry goods & I'm looking forward to the apples and almonds!

Everything I ordered was received in good condition. The almonds are oh, so good in granola, which is our primary use for them. But I admit to munching on some out of the bag, and must say they are quite yummy. The Basmati rice is everything we hoped it would be - we call it 'popcorn' rice because of its aroma and flavor.

Our Country Life Dry Goods were great!! My kids are loving the dried papaya, pineapple and banana chips. They have made great snacks and much healthier and cheaper than other options. In fact I have to hide them because they are eating them too fast.

I also ordered 25 pounds of grits and to my surprise they were not ground as fine as what I am used to at the store, so I have to figure out what to do with them.
